Hand-held, highly sensitive gas stream monitoring

The GM25 range of hand-held gas analyzers are designed for analysis of gas stream composition. Methane is measured by % volume and LEL, as well as CO2, O2, H2S and CO as found in soil gas, greenfield, and brownfield sites. The GM25 offers the option for hexane content monitoring in areas with hydrocarbon vapors from spilled fuels, oils, or other such contaminants. Additional options include atmospheric, static and differential pressure and flow rate measurement.

CASE STUDY

Remote Methane Monitoring in Colorado’s Coal Basin Using Laser Technology

By using Ecotec’s laser-based monitoring equipment in a remote Colorado coal basin, Delta Brick reassessed methane emissions far more accurately than previous estimates. The study revealed actual leakage was less than 300,000 cubic feet per day, a significant drop from the 1.3 million previously reported, giving the community a clearer path to permanent methane mitigation.
